Tim... who are all of these recruits??? Lawson, Foster, and Liner... Nice recruits, but not an incredibly deep defensive class.

Also this class was supposed to be lopsided towards offense look at last years class.

Speaking of underwhelming hires, anyone think we went and got Thompson so quickly because Saban wasn't prepared for Sal to jump? Maybe a falling out between them? To me it seemed like Sal was gangbusters on the recruiting trail except for the 12 cycle.

I wouldn't use me as a reference. I don't have as much cred with these guys as I do with the guys who jumped ship. But I would say it's been a rough month all things considered. Ebbs and Flows I suppose, but it's not been flowing as well as I'd like

Agreed, but I can't remember a month going this badly since Saban came on board. The end of 10 was pretty bad though

The beginning of 2010 when we lost allen, and a few other issues because of our trip to pasadena while folks recruited against us.

Sure he meant the end of the 10 cycle. I mean we are almost 3/4 of the way through the 2013 cycle.

What are Bama's recruiting needs in this class for DBs? I just read that USC CB commit Chris Hawkins (Rivals ****) is planning to take 4 other visits this year, and Bama is one of them (ORE,WASH,ND are the others.)
Most SC folks think that he is all Cardinal & Gold, and just wants to enjoy the trips, but with a football power like Bama, you don't take anything for granted.
