Eh dont see Willis in Foster except how hard he hits. I meant size and playing style

Willis is 6'1 240, Foster is 6'1 245. And they both are hard-hitting, downhill MLB's

I know they around the same size, but I think Willis plays different and better in space. It would be stupid to say Foster is better than Willis at hitting a hole, but at his age he is better than him. Ill stick by my Miller comparison

Reggie Ragland is indeed just like Rolando McClain. From what I understand he's just as smart on the field. I do think Foster is a better player coming out of highschool because he just strike the ball carrier with such power. He has good technique when he tackles and he's like a missle when he locks on at his angle. You will not escape him.

Still that's highschool and I think when it's over Saban can develop Reggie Ragland to be a middle linebacker that impacts the game on the same level as Rueben Foster at the college level.

Agreed, but that comfort in space may come to Foster with time. He's still in HS and Willis is an All-Pro

Ill stick with the ryans comparison. Strong, stocky, good enough speed, and an uncanny nose for the ball. Miller was a pass rush specialist, foster and ryans are run stuffers, Willis is just the prototype. I know RF had a ton of sacks but most are from a well timed blitz, miller has a repertoire of pass rushing moves

They will both likely be 1st rounders. barring injury. Ragland may have the higher ceiling because of how much is expected of Foster. Both were the number 1 ILB and 5 stars lol

It's easy to be comfortable in space when you're faster than the guys you're covering 90% of the time

In years past, even with Reuben Foster's obvious abilities, I would've been scared we would never see his full potential at Auburn. However, since getting rid of Ted Roof, and adding BVG, I fully expect to see him bulldozing players the first time he takes the field for Auburn. I have no doubt in my mind, if he does indeed sign with Auburn, he will become a great linebacker. No doubt.

Foster is a pass rusher as well as run stopper... go watch his film. he could play what jarvis jones does and the typical MLB

Ive seen his film...he times the blitz as well as anyone and is strong enough to bull rush opponents when necessary. Miller was a technician with his hands, he utilizes every trick in the book

Maybe, but BVG hasn't coached a down yet for Auburn yet, I'd let the season play out before crowing him.He was great at Georgia though, IMO him leaving is what caused Georgia's decline the last few years.

Get foster out of the bama thread! I am glad he got his flip out of the way. Move on!

It just feels weird.. A couple of months ago we expected to have Foster and Nkemdiche, and now we have neither.

We've won two out of the last 3 national championship and are ranked in the preseason top 3 with a great chance to repeat this year.Oh and we're stacked.

Does that help?

thats denial, this is a recruiting thread for the 2013 class. By resting on our laurels is how we get complacent and fall off the map.

But seriously we have had a very rough month in recruiting, really its been downhill since A day other than Maurice Smith.

lol yeah we're screwed, Nick Saban has lost his touch, we will never get a highly rated recruit again.
