Yeah right. You were talking shite and didn't know what you were talking about. For a LSU fan, not surprising.

Burt is mostly kidding. Though if you ever read the Tiger Rant you will see that most of them actually believe the crap they spew.

Anyway, DeBeast and Ragland will tear it up in the middle. That 2013 team's only weakness will be the D-Line with three new starters, but even then we only had 1 D-Lineman return in 2011 and we won the BCS title so hellz yeah.

Reuben Foster made a new twitter accout today, and here is a tweet from 20 minutes ago

quote:

Y'all say you will win with or without me before all this you scream you need me #I know what's real

Does he seriously think Bama fans would be as cool with him and still show him love after he flipped to Auburn using the same speech TJ Yeldon used?He can't be serious right now.

While all of those LBs are good and its awesome that we have them dont feel like you have to just bring up we have these guys because of Foster. Foster is still in high school. Hes a badass for sure, but he now has nothing to do with Alabama and lets just focus on the guys that want to come to Alabama. I wish Saban would tell each recruit that wasnt 100 percent to decommit so others could have an opportunity. Makes me feel bad for guys that really want it and cant because of someone higher on the board. Good for Cole Mazza now I think about it. But I will say Reggie Ragland is probably the only LB on that list close to Foster. The others are fantastic and none have taken a snap including Foster, so we will just have to see. Just remember Marcel Dareus was a 3 star and NR on some.

Reggie Ragland was a 5 star and ranked as the number 1 MLB on some sites.

Like I said in another thread it stings to lose a great player like Foster, but he's a middle linebacker. Alabama has proven they develop good middle linebackers because they showcased a good true freshman linebacker in every class since Saban arrived. Rolando, Donta, Nico, Mosley, Depriest, and I'm sure Reggie will keep that going.

I know Auburn fans are feeling good about what they're coaching staff was able to accomplish today and they should. Foster is a great player and he will add alot to an already impressive defensive class they have.

But no one should even think Foster's flip is going to hurt Alabama's defensive class at linebacker.

Ragland was number 1 on all sites and a 5 star. He was last year's foster. foster just has the better reel. Ragland is actually bigger and faster than foster. foster is just a bit more evolved.

I think Foster may flip back over, but we'll see. We don't really "need" him, but getting him would be nice. It feels like with no Nkemdiche or Foster, while we can still have a top class, it won't be near the level of last years or the 08/09 classes.

Idk that Ragland is faster than Foster. When Foster sees a lane to the ball, he's like a homing missile. And he's more physical than Ragland, but not many players are more physical than Foster. But you are correct, Ragland will be a damn good LB, he's extremely athletic for his size. I know I'm just repeating yalls posts, but Bama is gonna be more than fine at LB

This this and this. Worded well my friend. I had this in my head, Foster would get PT as a freshman, but I think Depriest and Ragland will start at MLB and WLB in 2013, Mosley instead of Reggie if he stays... But Reuben would be rotational for sure. doubt hed start

Yeah Ragland is a great LB and is perfect for our system, but Reuben is the best high school linebacker I've ever seen on film.

I played against Ragland when he was a pup maybe a Freshman or 8th grader and he was already a freak. He reminds me of Ro McClain minus the 9mm pistol. He is around 6'4-6'5 so a bit taller than Foster and maybe a few lbs heavier. I believe Ragland's best 40 time was in the high 4.4's 4.5 range, dont quote me but if I remember correctly. I think he may have a step on foster. foster has a bit more acceleration.

Me too. I don't really understand the comparisons between Foster and McClain. I think Ragland is a McClain clone

Foster is too short to resemble Ro. He is like Vonn Miller.

Eh dont see Willis in Foster except how hard he hits. I meant size and playing style. Vonn Miller accelerates stupidly fast like Foster and is like 6'2 and Foster is around 6'1-6'2.
