Does anyone think Kamara has the range and athleticism to play free safety if RB doesn't pan out for him?

Did he play defense at Norcross?

He's built almost identically to Collins IMO.

Na man. His style doesn't jive with defense at all, as well as he's never played D.

I've seen both in person, and I'm not sure where you see the similarities with LC

I haven't seen Kamara play defense either, but his body is very similar to Collins. 6' 200 pounds as a high school Senior. Both extremely athletic. Both very fast.

Seeing as how we didn't sign a true FS in this class I'm just throwing shite out there.

Not trying to take a shot at Kamara, but he's not half the football player LC is. Very finesse. To be honest I'm kinda scratching my head as to why he's a take in this class considering what's going on. This is coming from someone who wants as many GA players as possible, especially ones from Norcross.

Don't get me wrong, the guy is a player, and if this class were different I'd definitely want him.

Here's to hoping the guy proves me wrong.

I guess I should have phrased it this way: "If Kamara doesn't pan out at RB, what position is he better suited playing?"

Henry could project to either LBer or H-back.

IF RB doesn't work, probably Slot. Bama is actually pitching that Hybrid position actively now, though not to Kamara. They are recruiting Ed McCaffrey's son as the RB/WR hybrid.

He dominated with Max Browne at The Opening's 7-on-7 tournament, and that's really hard to do as a RB.

McCaffrey's son is a fricking animal. Have you watched his highlights?

Is it a massive troll or did Dismukes call rf a racial slur?

That's the rumor. Even if true, I don't think he comes to Alabama. If anything it will push him to Georgia.

In my amateur opinion it would be slot, and that's what I think he'll play if he comes to UA.

See, I don't see room for him in the slot. We have two 5-star players at that position already in Chris Black (who was destined for a lot of playing time until his injury) and Cyrus Jones. Plus, Christion Jones has 2 years left.

There has to be another position he could play.

Yep, I do wonder if the staff's limited WR spots for '14 will cause him to not be offered. He does like Stanford a lot though.

That's kinda why I'm scratching my head. Maybe Kirby promised him that he'd have a scholly a long time ago? Again, here's hoping he proves me wrong.

Oh and on the Foster situation, apparently C. Jones tweeted that he's hangin with him and Alvin
