Never understood why we didn't go after this kid. The foot thing has apparently done very little to hamper him in HS, and he seems like he could at least be a Chapman clone. We will only have Ivory and Lake at NG next year.

I agree. The only thing I can figure is we only wanted 1 NG in the class and liked Paige better. It's also of note that Auburn didn't offer him either so who knows?

Oh, good Lord. Grant isn't Saban. Of course Coach Saban can't get them all, but he gets more of them than anyone else. Get over your fricking self, honestly.

Tony Connor names UA his leader. Would not be surprised if he would want to go to UA, but those controlling his recruitment will keep him in Missississippi.

I guess we'll see.

He could be like Landon Collins and wanting to get out of state.

Or he could be trolling the shite out of us.

He very well could be, but he goes to South Panola.

As much as I want to believe, I'd lean strongly toward the trolling option. I'm not sure he's visited us since the summer. I know he was scheduled to visit a bunch of times during the fall but kept cancelling.

Connor is a kid that has been very quiet the whole time and now he says we are his leader lol. Not buying it.

How much does LSU losing help us with Beckwith and Williams?

I don't think it matters at all. What may affect them is whether or not guys like Mingo, Montgomery, and Minter choose to stay or go pro.

Beckwith is LSU's regardless IMO. He says he choosing this week but taking an official visit to LSU next week even though he has visited them dozens of times.

Williams is another story. If we lose Walker, I could see us going hard after Williams and getting him. Unfortunately, LSU gets his last visit.

LSU's offense going into derp mode yet again may have helped a little with some offensive players, but not a couple of defensive guys.

Saban: Did you watch to the LSU-Clemson game last night? I don't know about you but I was surprised LSU never ran the ball in the 4th quarter despite having the lead

Fournette: Yeah, Coach Crutchfield mentioned that too.

Robert Foster getting rave reviews at the UA AA practices again today. OJ, Grant Hill, and Mo Smith also getting lots of praise.

Rueben Foster said “I do not know when I am going to make my decision,”."It might be past signing day.”And he also said “Tray Matthews goes to Georgia, plus it is home, so why not go to Georgia, be a Dawg and play with Todd Grantham and Kirk Olivadotti?”.“I have loved Alabama since the beginning and I will continue to love them no matter what,” Foster said. “They are about to win the national championship there.”
I would still love to get this guy!

Meh, he's burned a pretty big bridge with the shenanigans.

Good luck to the kid wherever he goes, but I won't be disappointed one bit if he doesn't sign with Bama.

Burned bridges with some of the fans maybe and I'm sure the coaches were not very pleased, but as was mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Smart visited Foster and talked with him, coaches still want him, I still want him. If we don't get him back no big deal though.

Reuben Foster hasn't burned any bridge that matters. And by "matters", I mean people who actually decide whether he gets a scholarship or not.
