I give him a ton of credit for the 3 long carries but the other 34 are what is telling to me. Either the other defense was awfully strong, his OL sucks or he struggles with average carries. Maybe some combination of the 3. His stats look great on paper but for the most part he was ineffective and may be a big reason his team got smoked.

Gainesville High is ranked third in 6A. Yulee is a 4A school.

It was impressive.

Will Pitt's debacle of a game help us with Robert Foster's commitment?

Yeah. Losing to Youngstown state should make him open his eyes a little. Wrap it up Robert! (rushel shell)

No it wont matter imo. We see kids chose to go to places like Miami thats going to be on probation. To some kids winning isnt everything. I mean its Pitt he wasnt choosing them because they are going to win games.

Bama fans, do ya'll know if 2014 S Ed Paris was at the game? Al.com said he was but he was tweeting during the game about one of LSU's DBs doing well.

TIA for any info.

Thanks. Saw it this morning and was a little confused. Thought maybe he pulled a reverse Landon Collins and was watching LSU play North Texas somewhere in the Jerry-Dome.

so far after 2 games Tyren's stats are 78 carries for 639 yards and 9 TDs, 8.1 YPC

BEST RB in the country hands down IMHO

His coach:

quote:

"He is everything you wants as a player," Hidalgo said. "On top of that he is tough as nails, a competitor, and a great locker room presence. We have had a bunch of great kids come through here and have a bunch right now, but I have never been around anyone whose talent warranted all of those attributes as he does."

Mackensie Alexander named Notre Dame his leader. What did he have to say about Alabama?

I've given up on Mac...playing too many games

In other news, from rollbamaroll.com:

quote:

SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DEE MILLINER
Cornerback
ALABAMA
6-1 • 199 • Jr. • Millbrook, Ala.

• Milliner totaled five tackles, four pass deflections and an interception in Alabama’s 41-14 win against #8 Michigan in Arlington, Texas.
• His four pass deflections, all in the first half, were a career-high.
• He returned the interception 35 yards to the Michigan 17 yardline, which set up the Tide’s third score to take a 21-0 lead.
• The Alabama defense forced three interceptions and limited the Wolverines to just 269 yards of total offense.
• For his efforts, Milliner was also named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week.

Was impressed with Depriest. I think he had 4 tackles on the first drive.
