The fact that posts get deleted should be laughed at.

Practice started 20 minutes ago, should last roughly 2 hours.

He's around 6'2 235 now, and says he wants to play around 240. He was around 215 when he reported last year.

We're apparently lining up with a two RB formation at practice. Fowler acting as the FB. May be a split formation, could always just be an I formation, though it is being made to sound like a Split Back set.

Henry is one of the top 20 players in the country

Not in my opinion.

I rate T. Jones and Tenpenny both higher as RB's. I think T. Jones is hands down the best RB in the country.

247 is who I go by, they have Henry listed as the 20th best player in the country.

No, it was some beat writer. I'm getting the word from somewhere else.

Also, Ed Stinson was rolling with the first team, Dickson was at Sam, and Belue was starting over Fulton.

Also, HaHa comes in as the 5th DB in Nickel. Fulton does not.

I find them to be the best too, but I'm also capable of making my own observations, and my opinion is that Henry is an athlete with no real position. A fantastic physical specimen who can throw medicine balls really far in SPARQ testing but whose mastery of the RB position leaves a lot to be desired. His camp testing is what has gotten him the lofty ranking, not his ability to play running back. I don't see him ever beating out Yeldon, Jones, Tenpenny or even Drake for carries.

He's averaged close to 3,000 yards and 30 tds a season so far in HS as a rb, and he plays in Florida which has a lot of great HS talent, he's one of the best hs rb's I've ever seen on film.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think he plays for a A or AA team, so playing in Florida is pretty meaningless.

Trent Richardson's senior stats playing 4A florida football

2,090 yards rushing 26 tds

LINK

Derrick Henry's Junior stats at the same level

2,567 yards 34 tds

LINK

Derrick Henry did get about 85 more carries than TR and played two more games than TR did, but their stats are similar.

TR averaged 209 yards and 2.6 tds per game

Henry averaged 214 yards and 2.8 tds per game.
