Well being "realistic" is one thing, but saying a cb that s gonna be a first year starter (if he wins the job} is better than Milliner who in every mock draft I've seen is projected as a first round pick, is taking it a little to far.

Man you crazy? You guys just dick ride thats all. If he was a lock down corner he wouldve been playing over Menzie. He will be a every down guy this year and it wont be the same. I dont have to agree with everything you guys say. Everytime I have disagreed with someone on here ive been right. Dre was good but he wasnt lock down. Deion Sanders and Revis thats lock down. They wont even throw to there side.

Go watch some tape buddy.

I just wanted to add that I find if funny to see Alabama fans turning on their brethren because they don't have as much Alabama cum on their chin as the rest of them.

Did you find it as funny as watching your greatest team of all time vomit all over themselves in the Superdome? Personally, I was laughing my arse off that whole game watching Les and his boys shitting themselves play after play

Saw a couple of post about Brazil. He has been doing interviews on BR radio talking about recruiting kids to LsU. He has taken a leadership role when it comes to recruiting for LSU. This kid will be a tiger when it is all said and done.

Once upon time it was on youtube, it isn't anymore, but I did find this, it isn't every play though.

You make it sound like Milliner is some unknown quantity. He's started 17 of the 26 games he's been on the team. I thought he played very well as a true freshman in '10. Yes, he had a couple of blown plays but that happens with every CB even seniors. Then, last year he was pretty much lights out. I remember Dre, Menzie, Lester, and Barron all getting beaten last year, but I don't remember Milliner getting beaten but I sure remember his pick 6 in the IB. He's one of the best tackling CBs I've seen. He will be expected to step up and be a shutdown corner this year and be one of the best CBs in the conference.

FTR, I am very high on Fulton as well.

I think Milliner is very good corner and he had a great sophmore season, but I don't know about this lockdown lable.

I mean you guys doe understand that when you say the word lockdown and you associate it with a corner then you're basically saying he will be a top 10 draft pick hands down.

I do think Milliner is a first round talent at corner, but I think it's right around where Kirkpatrick went or probably a few spots ahead of that.

So what does that video prove. That he is good at run support. He has trouble on slants. Even Dre struggled when he first got to the Bengals because we rarely play straight man to man. Look we dont play enough man to man to say that someone is a lockdown corner. We dont play a defense where if we were playing a elite receiver we would take a CB and say guard him the whole game.

Wrong. Anyone is going to give up a completion on a slant when you're playing that far off.

Im not trying to argue with you guys but some of you are pussies. You start throwing out names like "sidewalk fan" when someone disagrees with you. You guys dont know what a lockdown corner is. We have guys that are good but they look better than most because of our system. Like Kareem Jackson. Look at the video of Milliner. Most of time his eyes are in the backfield and he is able to do that because he is playing zone and dont have to worry about whats going on behind him because he has help. Now I havent seen to many guys tackle like him. Last CB we have seen that you can call lockdown is the guy from LSU last year and he isnt on his level. Sorry but he isnt.

Milliner excels when we're in man coverage, just so ya know. His size is perfect for it too. He'll prove ya wrong though so can't wait until the season starts.

Calling out ppl for being a "sidewalk fan" is complete bull shite needs to stop. Anyone that says that is a shithead especially when talking to fellow Tide Fans. That is all.

Whether or not he will be or has the potential to be a shutdown corner is certainly up for debate and I have no problem if you don't think he will be. I and others jumped into the discussion because you said this:
quote:

He may be good but who knows just yet

I think he's proven that he's better than just good and will have the opportunity to prove himself as one of the top CBs in the country this coming year.

Thats what I hate about some Bama fans. They cant even be objective towards a player.

Sarc looks like they knocked Jonathan Allen down to a four star as well.

Orly? Now you're just being a dumbass and making wild assumptions that I'm not being objective. Charles Woodson would have given up that completion if he was playing that far off. The slant is an easy completion.
