"He was pretty upset," Davis said, shaking his head. "It went from him trying to talk to me, to calling me a traitor and telling me I'm only doing this because the devil has come back to college football and trying to create a big buzz. But it wasn't at all about that. The fact that he got mad when I took a visit showed me I would've been just another number on the team."

You forgot to include the rest of the quote, "And I knew Coach Miles was going to be mad in advance, so that's why I told him my grandfather died and I was at a funeral that weekend. Coach Saban gave me the idea. "

lol Les does get majorly butt hurt at recruits if they flip, never heard any other coach call a recruit out at press conference the way he did Gunner Kiel.

Saban's really cool about that stuff though.

He wouldn't have lied to Kes if he thought Les would let him keep his scholly after visiting.

No.Nick may not like it, but our commits are still allowed to take visits.Never heard Saban pull a scholorship offer from a player for taking a visit, or call a recruit out publicly at a press conference for doing something he didn't like.Miles and Saban are actually far different when it comes to this matter.

This is true.

And Saban told recruits that at LSU as well.

However, if a kid decommits from Saban he will pull his whole apeshit routine on them, call their parents and HS coaches and give them a speech about character etc. THEN, he will tell the HS coach that if the kid decommits he will not recruit their HS in the future.

Saban will do this while trying to get other players to decommit, because he is a fraudulent hypocrite.

I know as an absolute fact this is what happened with Sentomore at Destrehan.

Yes, Miles got a little wacky with Kiel. But Saban is an absolute liar, fraud, hypocrite POS when it comes to these kinds of things and recruiting.

Bama commit Maurice Smith's twitter

LINK

This kid gets it.

Yes -- and he's disagreeing with the the original tweet sent to him.

Hell dude -- LSU has recruited lights out under the likes of Stovall, Curley Hallman, and Gerry Dinardo. I think it's because most recruits in the region really like Baton Rouge--and LSU does that without 13 NCs, the REC, etc.

Hell--even you have Saban and we have Miles we're the No. 1 ranked team in the country.

The Capstone is a nice place, even beautiful in the fall, but I think the kids love them some Baton Rouge

Either that or the fact that you're the only football power in a talent rich state, but congrats on beating out the likes of Tulane and ULL

Then obviously you have nothing to worry about with LF and other LA prospects. And since you have nothing to worry about, then you have no need to even read this thread much less post in it

Awww. You were the one saying it was so easy for LSU because they're a sole power in a talent rich state

There's always time for swagga, little son.

And yes, LA has more football talent than AL

p.s. LSU is not a sole power--it's a SOUL power

Interesting. In the 2013 class there are two top 15 players from Alabama and none even in the top 40 from Louisiana.

Tim Williams is number 23 in the country on Rivals. You looking at 24/7 maybe?

Pagan hitting 500 and Jessie hitting 600. The Alabam defensive line is going to be sick and deep. Stinson, Jessie, Dial, Square, Pagan, and Fanning. Then we still have Ivory and maybe Taylor.

Glad to hear Robert Foster's visit went well.
