Have You Seen Ole Miss Football's New Party Decks For Students On Saturday?
© Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports
Ole Miss is trying to make football games more "cool" for their student body, so they had this Fyre Festival-like idea to add Student Party Decks to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for this weekend's game. Per hottytoddy.com...
quote:

To provide more in-game social opportunities for the student body, Ole Miss is testing party decks at the top of the student section in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for the 2019 season. The eight temporary party decks – four on each side of the videoboard – will feature awnings for shade, televisions, charging stations, fans and pub tables along with plenty of space for students to socialize and watch the game. Each platform has a capacity of 100 students.
This will end badly.

Yep, I sure have. And they kept the sun off everybody under them today. What else are they supposed to do?

Whenever the party needs some juice I put up a tent. That gets the people going

This is why the Grove will be full during the game, and the stadium, especially these “Party Decks,” will be empty during the game.

If Arkansas is winning late in middle of the 4th quarter, those poles are coming down.

Kinda pathetic. Hopefully the good folks of Mississippi are spending that money on shoes and dentists.

I'm so confused. All I see is tents covering a small portion of the bleachers. I don't see how TVs, charging stations, etc. could even be incorporated into that set-up without being a massive clusterfrick.

It’s fricking tents covering bleachers. That looks so much better than regular bleachers. Out of control fun and socializing about to go down.
