Bamboo bar/ Earthquake bar, bunch of different names. Usually used with less weights for rehab purposes. Bar shakes making it unstable and having to use your smaller muscles/core a lot more.

Yea it's an awesome bar but it's not meant to squat 610lbs with. About the opposite. Light weight and high reps to work 2ndary and tertiary muscles.

what I was thinking. I run a gym and the bars we use are rated for 1500 lbs. They would flex under 610 but nothing like that.

The only reason we use bars rated that high is for safety. Not because anyone is close to doing anything on a 1500 bar.
