If the pussy would have gone to the Chargers like drafted and did as well as he did, he would be in already.

Do they only allow 4 per year?

I've never been a Patriots fan, but the main person that got the shaft in my opinion was Adam Vinatieri. He has 4 rings(most of any kicker), holds the record for points as a kicker, most playoff points as a kicker, only player to score 1,000+ points with multiple teams and has 2-3 Super Bowl winning kicks. I'm sure he's done more, but that just the stuff I found doing a quick search when I saw he wasn't selected.

It is the 117-117 record that is going to keep him off some ballots. Joe Namath made it being 1 game under so I would think it will eventually come for him.

I think his career was solid but he is a 2x SB winner which is a differentiator. Not sure I would consider him a 1st ballot but he will get in within 2-3 yrs. Next year will be tough with the eligible class. Drew, Fitzgerald, Witten, Rivers, etc.

Agree. Should get in soon. 11th all time in TDs and yardage, and 2-0 against Brady in Super Bowl.
