Saints DE Alex Okafor Needed 1 Sack For $400K Bonus, They Sat Him & Paid Him Anyway
© Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports
New Orleans Saints DE Alex Okafor was one sack short of getting a $400K bonus heading into final week of the season. So instead of risking injury, the team rested him during Week 17 and paid that man his money anyway...

Classy, smart move.

The kind of thing makes players want to play, and stay with your organization

Great move, kinda weird to rest D lineman that rotate but start O lineman like Peat who plays two spots, and then he gets hurt

He got snaps in this game but got hurt so they sat him. Larry is a retard and obviously does not watch the Saints.

I would thing you would need at least two sacks to hold that much money.

Dalton Hilliard needed 1000 yards to get his bonus and they sat him and ....he didn't get his bonus. Nice to know the current management understands humanity.
