Derek Carr hasn't been...uhhh...great. He has completed 63.9 percent of his passes this season for 1,600 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions. Here's what the Saints would lose to move on from him...
quote:

The Saints gave Carr a four-year, $150 million contract this past offseason. That deal included $60 million guaranteed at signing.

If the Saints release Carr before June 1, they'd take on $52.8 million cap charge. A trade, meanwhile, would leave the front office with a $22.8 million cap charge. That being said, it's hard to imagine another team would trade for him.

Regardless of what the Saints decide to do next year, Carr will get $30 million guarantee. If he's still on the roster by March, another $10 million becomes guaranteed.

An amazing idea thinking about how bad the saints are and how bad they’ll still be in ten years.

Mickey and Sean set us up very well. Sarc
