If I was a West Virginia fan, head coach Neal Brown wouldn't exactly be feeding me the confidence I'd need to root for my team this season...

Only reason for the 3 hour drive to Morgantown from where I live. Gorgeous this time of year.

I have lived in Morgantown and tailgating at WVU games is fun AF. Not as good as LSU but not bad either. The weather is nice and the views of the mountains from the stadium are enough to make up for the terrible Neal Brown coached teams.

He's got a point. College football is fun because of the atmosphere and the pageantry. In a state like WV, the Mountaineers are a major piece of the fabric of the culture in that state. Yes, it's a results-driven business, but you should also show up to enjoy the handful of weekends that are available for CFB.

Losing isn't fun, but the rest of the event is.
