Any relation to Anthony Davis?

If Z and TMurph can stay healthy I think this team wins 45+. Unfortunately that’s a HUGE if.

Chris Paul and the ghost of Tractor Trailer.

I’ve been 3 times in the last two years and am going again next month. It’s fine.

People dumb.
GOP has a razor thin majority in the House including many reps in purple districts. Yet people want a Speaker with the temperament of MTG holding the gavel.
If you put Jim Jordan or Scalise or any number of “non-cuck” reps in at Speaker they will govern the EXACT same way as Johnson has. You can’t ram through anything with a < 5 vote majority.

Who is this clown? Gtfo bandwagon Lebron sucker
re: A 58 year old George Foreman would have killed Jake Paul.
Posted by pleading the fifth on 11/16/24 at 8:35 am
Possibly. Foreman had some of the heaviest hands in boxing.
Tyson’s issue is he relied so much on explosion and getting inside on his opponent. That’s one of the first things you lose as you get older. You could even see it after his comeback against guys with reach like Lewis and Holyfield. That ability to quickly close the distance through the jab was weaker. At 58 he showed very brief flashes in the first few seconds of a round but then Paul just kept the distance and made him a counter puncher and that’s never been his game.

58 years old. Father Time is undefeated.
I would like to see Paul fight an actual boxer and not washed up MMA fighters.

re: How does Mike Tyson stack up with all time heavyweights?

Best brawler/fighter before the era of UFC/MMA. Probably not top 5 in terms of actual boxing. Jones Jr, Lewis, Holyfield, Ali, all better boxers than him.

In the sense that this is probably the most watched men’s title fight in 20 years and it did not disappoint.

Holy shite I hope this OP was made in the first 30 seconds of this fight. That fight was legendary.

I know officials get no love on here but as a high school official I can’t imagine trying to officiate on these courts with that BS on them.

Cursed, yes.
It’s really hard to place blame when your big FA acquisition has played one game, and 5 of your top 7 players have missed or will miss significant time due to injury.
What other teams have this level of a MASH unit right now?
Hawkins out
Zion out
Murray out
Herb out
CJ out
Murphy back 1 game
I have enjoyed watching some of the journeymen play these last few games but it otherwise sucks right now as a Pels fan.

Simmons has always had that ability. His broken shot is all that holds him back. And injuries… like tons of injuries.

re: So Trump will win Nevada and Arizona comfortably, but GOP lose the Senate seats???
Posted by pleading the fifth on 11/8/24 at 9:05 am
I called it in one of my previous posts before the election.
A lot of the electorate is simply not smart. Some swing voters rationalized voting for DJT by splitting the ticket with the Senate.

Need Lake and McCormick to pull it off to have a Murkowski/Susan Collins proof majority.
re: This can get worse really quick

This MASH unit squad brings the effort but I’ll be damned if this team isn’t cursed with injuries. We didn’t get one game of Murray/Zion.

You just have to do your part. My 10 and 15 year old are MAGA af and I really don’t try to indoctrinate them politically. I just explain to them about taxes and hard work and personal responsibility and gender reality and the rest works itself out.
I woke them both up this morning before I went to work to tell them Trump won - my daughter almost cried tears of joy.
That’s a huge dad win right there.
