Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly addressed those allegations on Sunday...
quote:

“Owusu was evaluated for a concussion. He was brought to the tent,” Kelly said, per 247Sports. “So, that’s hard to be booing at a young man who suffered an evaluation for a concussion. Quite honestly, Georgia doesn’t play very fast, so I found that to be quite interesting there would be a number of questions on something like that.”

Kelly was also asked about linebacker Asmar Bilal going down.

“Then the other one (Bilal) was cramping. Again, it’s a non-issue. It happens in college football all of the time. Guys go down and they’ve got to be administered to. I’ve seen games against us where there have been many, many more, so I’m not even sure why you’re asking the question,” he said.

Georgia offense was moving that fast though.

At least any player on the field can play the injury card, so I guess it’s fair. If the NCAA wanted to stop it then make the player sit for the remainder of the drive, you know, so they can heal properly.

They ARE playing by the rules. Maybe stretching a little. If you want different results, change the rules.

Honestly LSU does this too. I remember that peach bowl where we gave up to Clemson. Every play it seemed like someone on defense was just sitting down. I'd say all the teams play this way when getting beat and are gassed.

He lying but I don't have a problem with it, since HUNH is basically bending the rules itself. One good turn deserves another.

Weird that his teammate knew he was cramping before he knew himself. That’s a good teammate

The refs should start flagging obvious ones like that for delay of game

It's subjective. Then we'll have to have replays on injuries and 5 hour games. Don't tell the advertisers, they may like it.
