Hot take here, I like nepotism. Following in your father's footsteps and embracing family culture is the best way to success. I look around at successful people in my life and half of them are working the family business.

If young Swinney can't do the job, he'll be weeded out. But good on him for following pops.

yep. one of the worst things they taught the boomers was the "get out and make it on your own" bullshite. no. you try to be successful so you can teach your kids how to and pass that onto them, and hopefully they'll have better lives than you. we aren't far away from times were that was impossible, and this mentality will bring those times back

Congrats to Drew Swinney! Drew earned this opportunity through merit in a fair and open process to fill this awesome opportunity. There will be a lot of pressure but if he works hard and plays his cards right... He might have another promotion earned down the road!
