© John Reed-USA TODAY Sports
You usually wait until you sign the contract, THEN surprise your parents with a new car. Not Auburn's Isaac Okoro. After getting drafted at #5 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, he rolled out a brand new Range Rover for his mom and dad...

I actually know this family and can tell you they were already doing pretty well. Congrats to his parents on raising a very talented and now very rich 19 year old. Don’t hate y’all. Be happy that in the USA great things still happen to good people.

I like these video's. Very cool. I'm always amazed at the size difference in Father and son. Kind of makes you wonder who the milk man is.

$100k car on a $13.1 million dollar guaranteed contract is .008%. That's like giving someone making $100k a year shite for spending $763 on a car. STFU.

Sorry Bro but your math has a false premise. $13.1 million is the gross. After Biden admn. takes their 40+%, plus the state he'll reside in and to top it off, the greedy tax and spend municipalities take their share (not to mention the Agent's 2-3% cut), he will take home less than half of that $13 million. Buys a residence for $2-3 million (not to mention the vehicles he wants) and poof!, your $13.1 million is now more like $4 million and that is probably the high end. That is the reality of it. Of course, he will probably eventually make a little bit more off endorsements but not the numbers you think unless he is a top-10 NBA player.

@Hurt..Good name for you after that post. You act is if having a $4 million dollar start is a bad thing. If he flops tomorrow and pulls $80K a year that last 50 years excluding in type of return. That is a pretty good position to be in. I'm always amazed at the haters that come out when someone gets a big pay day. Congrats to that kid.
