The strike zone hasn't been a strike zone for years. It seemed clearly defined when I was youngster man, many years ago. But every ump interprets it differently and it can change from inning to inning and even with every pitch. Technology could fix it but it shouldn't have to. Umps (and refs in other sports) insert themselves into the "show" and want to part of the story.

I love how calm DJ was though. His teammates are being bafoons and slamming bats around. And DJ just basically says my man thats really far outside, there is no way i can hit that.

As far as baseball tirades go that was pretty under control and tame.

That umpire should just quit. To let another grown man talk to you like that, and just stand there is inexplicable.
