Bill Walton proclaimed yesterday as “the greatest day of my life,” and it showed. Walton, a huge Deadhead, was pretty much the Grand Marshal of the inaugural "Grateful Dead Tribute Night" at the Padres’ stadium on Thursday. He threw out multiple first pitches, chatted up everyone with a uniform on, jammed with the Dead cover band and delayed the game's start time because of all of it.
