Michael Bonner with The Clarion-Ledger is reporting that Mississippi State WR Fred Brown has been dismissed from the University for a violation of the school’s honor code.
quote:

MSU confirmed that Brown is no longer a student at the university. There was no further information regarding the dismissal at this time.

Brown missed Mississippi State's scrimmage last weekend with what coach Dan Mullen referred to as a family matter.

What's the word on what this "honor code" infraction was? Isn't MSU starting to get pretty thin on experience at this position?

WR is the one position that we'll be fine. The rest of the team is the question mark.
