What a night for the Mississippi State Bulldogs who defeated Vanderbilt 9-0 in the College World Series Wednesday night to claim the school's first National Championship. Per HailState.com:

That was a terrible call. The ball was 10 feet away when he touched the base.

He looked out to me, the first baseman stretched nicely to snag the ball before the runner got to first. But that was just a dumb bunt, he like popped it up to the 3rd baseman.
