LSU sophomore guard Jada Richard has reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal in a surprising move that adds to the Tigers’ growing offseason roster turnover.
The Opelousas native emerged as LSU’s starting point guard during the 2025–26 season, starting nearly every game while averaging 9.5 points, 3.3 assists, and over 26 minutes per contest.
Head coach Kim Mulkey relied heavily on Richard as a steady presence on both ends of the floor, making her decision particularly notable as she was projected to be a key returner for next season.
Richard joins Bella Hines, Divine Bourrage, and Kailyn Gilbert in the portal.
