Former USF right-hander Kaden Smith has committed to LSU, giving the Tigers another experienced arm through the transfer portal.
Smith, who began his collegiate career at TCU before transferring to USF, emerged as one of the Bulls' top starters, finishing the year with a 4-3 record, a 4.24 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 46.2 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .232 batting average
The 6-foot-2 sophomore developed into a reliable weekend starter for USF and adds another proven option to LSU's revamped pitching staff heading into next season.
