Former Ole Miss defensive tackle Zxavian Harris testified in court Thursday that he did not do any "football work" during his brief time with the New Orleans Saints.

Harris, who is seeking another year of college eligibility and hopes to join LSU, said the only compensation he received from the Saints was $190 for gas money.

Harris signed with the Saints after his college eligibility had expired but is now attempting to return to college under the NCAA's new five-for-five eligibility rule.

Didn’t earn $195 if it was to pay his expenses. It’s a net -0-.

Everybody's dumping on Kiffin, but the NCAA created the five-for-five eligibility rule with no ground rules. They the ones who left the door wide open for this situation to happen. Lane is just taking advantage of it, he's not a villain for it, it just makes him smart. You think Lane is the only HC thinking about swimming in professional waters, hell no there will be other coaches who hoping Kiffin and LSU win the case. And another thing, stop calling college sports amateur athletics because there or no more amateur sports. We have a QB, LT, an Edge and a couple of LB that's getting paid almost $20 mill to play college football. That's professional athletes, do the NCAA understand that the professional football players are leaving the NFL and coming back to college to get paid more money.

“Don’t let him back in”, says the man who made $4.8M last year and flew in to BR in his pj.

Well, that sheds some light on his "professional experience" as an NFL player.
