Multiple sources are reporting that LSU is expected to land a commitment from Florida State edge rusher Patrick Payton.

The redshirt junior from Miami, Fla., has played in 39 games for the Seminoles with a career total of 110 tackles, 31.5 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks.

Patrick is rated as the top available defensive player in the transfer portal.

Because he’s projected late third round early fourth round. He knows with peoples and Bo he has a better shot at getting better draft stock
