It was officially announced by BYU on Thursday morning that LSU running game coordinator and offensive line coach Jeff Grimes would be the Cougars new offensive coordinator.

Grimes will remain with LSU through the Tigers Citrus Bowl matchup vs. Notre Dame on January 1 and will transition to his BYU duties after the game.

Grimes will be replaced by James Cregg who has reportedly agreed to be LSU's new OL coach.

A stand up guy to stay and coach through the bowl game. I know the o-line will give 100% for him! Should be a good game.
