LSU tight end coach and special teams coordinator Slade Nagle officially accepted the offensive coordinator position at Houston.

Nagle, a native of Lake Charles, La., was hired by Brian Kelly last January after an eight-year stint at Tulane, where he worked under current Houston head coach Willie Fritz.

Nagle will replace Kevin Barbay, who was fired last week.

Stay tuned as Brian Kelly searches for a replacement for Nagle.

So lemme get this straight, we had the worst special team(as a whole) in manage many years yet he gets a better position gig after one year?
We lucked out apparently.

Just when we seem to have gotten special teams under control. Can’t blame the man for advancing his career, though. Best of luck to him…

That's the exact same picture, photoshopped. High quality operation, Houston.
