LSU head coach Les Miles joined the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday and said that he will not name a starting quarterback for this Saturday's game against Mississippi State.

However, Miles did say he "can't imagine Danny Etling will not take the first snap."

I think Etling should get his chance but if he performs like he did in the second of the JS game he should also be yanked.

I was a very strong supporter of Harris. That has drastically changed. Anytime you on the sidelines and LF7 ignores you and turns his back on you. That tells it all right there. Against Wisconsin, LF7 was putting the team on his back in the fourth. He gets injured, comes out, and Harris throws a pic immediately after. That's completely unacceptable. If Les Miles wants to remain LSU's head coach, he will play Etling. He's already on borrowed time.

There's no reason for a coach to announce who his starter will be, but it's hard to imagine that Harris would be rewarded for his performance and Twitter habits.

Fans are apprehensive because of the way Jefferson was treated after the arrest.

Guilbeau's tweet is a whole lotta derp. Must be Larry's relative: "I can't imagine that Danny Etling would like take the first snaps, but we're going to let the week play out," he said.

Les, just announce a starter like 98% of coaches.

It's a delicate issue, and I don't blame Les for being wishy washy about it. The Mad Hatter is wearing two hats. On one end, he's got to give the public something to go by. They are hungry for answers to our offensive woes. On the other, he has to be a caring and understanding head coach of two young QBs. Add it together and you get that classic Les Miles interview.

I get the impression the coach has no chest. I'm sorry, but decisions like this from the CEO need to be handed down without waffling.

Miles did say he "can't imagine Danny Etling will not take the first snap." "I can't imagine that Danny Etling would like take the first snaps, Ummm, which was it? These are two completely different statements.
