Head coach Lane Kiffin spoke with reporters after practice on Tuesday and confirmed that sophomore cornerback Aidan Anding suffered a torn Achilles injury during Saturday's scrimmage and will be out for the season.
Anding, a talented corner from Grambling, La., appeared in eight games last season, with 92 special teams snaps and two tackles. He was expected to see more playing time as a backup cornerback, but he will now likely miss the upcoming season.

"It's a difficult injury... achilles and out for the season," Kiffin said. "He was playing great; he was actually one of the two defensive players of the game. Really unfortante it for him."
