Update: TJ Finley is transferring to Auburn

Speaking with AL.com, former LSU quarterback TJ Finley announced that his four transfer finalists are Alabama, Auburn, Houston and Penn State.

The Ponchatoula, LA native is will decide between those four schools and announce his decision today at 11 a.m. CT.

Penn State and Houston are the other two finalists.

“Each school has given me an opportunity to compete for the starting job,” said Finley, who entered the NCAA transfer portal May 6. “Based on how comfortable I felt with that, I made my decision based off who I felt gave me the best opportunity to be successful.”

If he doesn't go to Houston, I don't think he will get a chance to play. That is his best bet for playing time, patience and development. Those other places sound nice, but I doubt he ever becomes the full time starter there. I like the kid, but I am just being honest based on what I have seen so far.
