On Monday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked about some of LSU's newcomers from the transfer portal who are set to start in the secondary this season.

Virginia Tech transfer Mansoor Delane will start at cornerback, while former Houston safety AJ Haulcy and former NC State Tamarcus Cooley are expected to hold down starting spots as well.

Kelly said what impresses him most about them is their confidence and mindset on the practice field: “They play with a swagger.”

Very reasonable response and I think we can all agree the celebrations after making a tackle 20 yards past the first down marker have got to stop.

They play with a swagger? I’d rather them play with some discipline.

LSU will take care of business Saturday. This defense will be the difference and they are sick and tired of how everyone is picking Clemson. Do not back an LSU TIGER in the corner. GEAUX TIGERS
