LSU coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters after the Tigers' 20-10 win over Florida and provided an update on linebacker West Weeks, who left the game with a calf injury.

"It's a calf injury with West," Kelly said. "We don't think it's a serious injury. He couldn't really put any pressure on it. Our doctors felt it was prudent that if he couldn't put enough pressure on it, he was not going to be effective for us."

When was the last time LSU had 3 brothers play together. All three played against Florida. Incredible. Isn’t there another Weeks still in HS?

I’m wishing West a speedy recovery and look forward to his return to action on the football field.

It could be better stated as, “Calf injuries, if not fully healed and rehabilitated, can increase the risk of Achilles tendon rupture.”
