Two coaches that need to be called brohm at Louisville and Sumrall at Tulane. LSU needs a young energetic coach. I pray that Woodward doesn’t fall in love with the jimbo idea. He loves him some jimbo. I know sumrall is not the flashy hire but man can he coach.

Nothing good will come of this. Nobody knows who the new president is gonna be. Then new guy hires new coach? If Woodward is gone, who replaces him? Then that yahoo gets to pic next coach? New coach brings in his people. Is Baker done? Corey Raymond, Cortez Hankton? We had 2 freshman tackles that will wind up being good. Another 5 star tackle ready to come. A mobile qb waiting to start with possibly another on the way. I realize it wasnt going like we all wanted but......

So now some of the really good freshman Kelly helped bring in, his staff, will probably leave. Some of the good recruits we have coming in will prob flip. AND out of our 22 starters. if im not wrong, 16 are seniors or leaving for the draft. The team is officially starting over just like when Coach O was let go. So.....how long does the new guy have? 2 years? 3? Good luck to LSU finding a coach to put up with that crap.

Kelly sure seemed like a higher caliber person compared to our last two head coaches, but his coaching and recruiting skills have slipped. With great power ($) comes great responsibility and expectations. He was out tasked. Happy Lottery

Anyone think Kelvin Sheppard might be a potential candidate to look at? Has been lights out as a DC in the NFL so far and would probably take the LSU job in a heartbeat. Just thinking outside the box here away from the popular names such as Kiffin or Lanning.

Remember who signed Jimbo at A&M? History of poor decisions when it comes to football coaches, at least.

Nick Saban will return to where he won his first championship and bookend it with his last. In doing so he will atone for his sins, avoid eternal damnation, and earn a first class ticket to Heaven.

As a Tulane fan, you would be smart to hire Sumrall. Give him 6 million a year for 5 years. He would need a solid OC, but he's a solid coach, terrific motivator and great guy.
