5-Star Freshmen WR's Terrace Marshall, Ja'Marr Chase Meeting High Expectations

Head coach Ed Orgeron offered up some high praise for freshman wide receivers Terrace Marshall and Ja'Marr Chase who are both meeting the high expectations that followed them to LSU as former five-star prospects in high school.

“Ja’Marr is strong handed, has short-area quickness. Terrace has long speed and long arms.”

Run game doesn't have to be good to open up passing (see Ole Miss for example). Opening up the passing, however, will open up the run game.

Since these two frosh are too good to redshirt, wonder if it makes any sense to consider a redshirt on one of the upper class WRs. Even our 5th and 6th WRs might be SEC-level starters.

Wait...Terrace Marshall played a lot last year, so he's a sophomore...Jamar Chase is a true freshman. Would be nice to get an extra year for Terrace, though.
