LSU offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. and tight end coach Joe Cox traveled up to Michigan this week to see four-star tight end Anthony Cartwright.

Cartwright, a 6-5, 235-pound prospect from Franklin, Mich. (Detroit Country Day), holds offers from most major college programs, including ten SEC schools.

He is rated the No. 20 tight end in the country for 2027 and the No. 6 overall player in the state of Michigan.
