Several LSU coaches stayed close to campus on Sunday and visited two future Tigers at their homes in Baton Rouge.

Head coach Ed Orgeron, running back coach/recruiting coordinator Tommie Robinson, and offensive line coach James Cregg visited with four-star running back commit and Tyrion Davis and five-star offensive guard commit Kardell Thomas.

Both players are teammates at Southern University Lab School in Baton Rouge.

Why do we have such a good pipeline from Southern but all the University kids jump ship?

I think we got the U High kids we wanted this year. Some we never offered or went after so they went elsewhere. Moses was the big fish in the past but is quickly showing he hasn't been a monster LB. GA roasted him on more times than I could count.

I thought he was standing on something. Can you imagine trying to tackle that guy in high school?

"Don't tackle him high!" "Coach, I couldn't tackle him high if I were on a ladder."
