The LSU coaching staff has extended an offer to four-star linebacker Ellis Brooks from Richmond, VA.

The 6-2, 227-pound prospect from Benedictine School is rated the No. 9 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 9 overall player from the state of Virginia for the class of 2017, according to Rivals.

He holds offers from many major college football programs like Notre Dame, Michigan, Oregon, Ole Miss, North Carolina, and Pitt.

"Why does Brooks need linebackers for?" The #1 rule of calling someone out for something written on the internet, is to not follow it up with a blunder of your own.

That he said "Louisiana State University" instead of LSU tells me he isn't familiar with the program, and probably ain't coming here.
