Elite four-star cornerback Javien Toviano will be making his college commitment on Thursday, with five final schools in play, including LSU.

His final schools are Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, and Michigan.

Toviano, a 6-1, 185-pound prospect from Arlington, Texas (James Martin), is rated the No. 6 cornerback in the country and the No. 9 overall player from the state of Texas for the class of 2023, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Toviano has made several trips to LSU and was in Baton Rouge for the Southern game the year. Head coach Brian Kelly and cornerback coach Robery Steeples visited him last week, and Steeples is expected to see him again today before he makes his decision on Thursday.

Robery Steeples is a hell of a name for a cornerbacks coach. You’re off the hook this time, Larry.

We need all the DB's we can get. Time to start rebuilding DBU. This guy and a few other top DB recruits would be a great start.
