Gus Stark / LSU Athletics
Three-star wide receiver Landon Ibieta from Mandeville, LA announced Tuesday night that he has flipped his commitment from Miami (FL) to LSU.

The move was somewhat expected as Ibieta recently landed an offer from the Tigers and wrapped up an official visit to LSU last weekend.

LSU now has 11 verbal commitments heading into the Early Signing Period which starts Wednesday and ends on Friday.

Exact same situation as last year with Bech. Can't wait to see what he does

It is unreal that Bech was also a 3 star. Bech will be end up being an all SEC player and have a 10 year NFL career. Ibieta reminds me of him, but I think he’s faster.

Give me a 3* with heart and desire over a 5* selfish prima donna

Except 5* are proportionally much more likely to make it to the NFL. I’ll take the 5*

After watching film on this guy, how in the hell is he only a 3 star? His acceleration after the catch and or wild cat is awesome. Watching him block shows a mean streak also. After two steps then bye bye.. His stride is almost 5+ yards per step. With him and Bech next year.. Damn. Great get !!! Geaux Tigers

Let's not forget, Justin Jefferson was a 2 star. That star rating is completely bias! I seen 4 star guys sign with Bama and get bumped to a 5 star. I've also seen 5 star guys sign with LSU and get bumped down to a four star. Star ranking are only exist to justify recruiting classes and thus season rankings. Ever wonder how the heck the rank teams before the year and scratch your head wonder how this team or that team is ranked so high? Now you know!

JJ was an academic qualifying risk. He also went to no camps outside of LSU. If he had done the camp circuit he would’ve been a high 4*.

Nothing but supportive, but not overly impressed so far by BK, but he still has plenty of time to change my mind over the next 10 years. ??
