Someone is advising this kid well. Setting the time gave the schools one last chance to call him with their bag offer.

We need this guy if for anything to be depth but hopefully to come in and be a big time contributor. If this kid is serious about playing and making it to the NFL idk how he could choose anywhere else. The path to a starting role at LSU is so much clearer than any other school on that list and he may actually be the difference in a title run for this team. If hes serious about making a name for himself then LSU has to be the call. This is a potentially great team that just needs help at DT, idk how these guys cant see that maybe they could be the difference maker for a great team. Very short sighted to look for a slightly bigger NIL payout when the real opportunity is at the next level. Not like LSU wont make his pockets fatter also.

Nobody has ever said that LSU is unwilling to pay him. (Of course, no school can pay him directly.) There is a difference between paying a player and buying a player. I don't know why people don't understand the distinction. Even Paul Finebaum understood what CBK was saying, and Finebaum called out other media members for their stupidity.
