Four-Star LB Jacob Phillips Flips Commitment From Oklahoma To LSU

Talented four-star linebacker Jacob Phillips from Nashville, TN announced Thursday that he has flipped his commitment from Oklahoma to LSU.

Phillips is the No. 1 inside linebacker in the country for class of 2017, according to 247Sports.

LSU now has 21 commitments for the class of 2017.

Big relief if it holds up, and I'm sure it will. One more LB would be nice but, not imperative since there are more coming in 2018. Before this though, there was a chance we were gonna be shut out from the rest of the highly regarded LBs. One more big signing especially at DE or DT will top off a really nice class.
