New LSU head coach Will Wade will be starting from scratch to build a roster after guard Jalen Reece opted to enter the transfer portal on Friday.
Reece, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., was the last player on the roster with remaining eligibility before his decision to enter the portal.
Reece played in 32 games this season with 10 starts and saw his role increase after DJ Thomas’ injury.
Reece played 30.8 minutes per game in SEC play and averaged 7.1 points and 4.7 assists in league play.
