LSU and NC State have agreed to a $4 million buyout for Will Wade, according to NC State Athletic Director Boo Corrigan.

Wade's buyout was $5 million, dropping to $3 million after April 1.

Getting this sorted out ASAP allows Wade and LSU to get ahead of the Spring Transfer Portal window.

NC state needed it to happen asap so they can have a new coach in place before the portal opens. So they split the difference down the middle.
