LSU coach Matt McMahon announced Monday that guard Jalen Cook is suspended for the “failure to meet the standards that have been placed for the program.”

Cook has missed the past five games due to a lower leg injury and did not make the road trip to Nashville this past Saturday.

The Walker, La. native transferred back to LSU from Tulane last offseason.

I’d love to know what “standards” Coach Mac’s “program” has because it doesn’t lead to winning games.
