Former LSU guard Dedan Thomas Jr. committed to Houston out of the transfer portal over the weekend, according to multiple reports.

Thomas played in 16 games with 15 starts this past season, but dealt with a lower foot injury that required surgery and sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

The Las Vegas native was averaging 15.3 points and 6.5 assists per game before his season was cut short.

Houston will be Thomas' third college stop after beginning his college career at UNLV before transferring to LSU.

Can't blame him going to the powerhouse. Shows that he was a solid guard if he is going to Houston. Would've been nice to hang to him.
