Elite five-star power forward Trendon Watford announced Monday afternoon that he has committed to LSU.

Watford, a native of Birmingham, Alabama (Mountain Brook High School) chose the Tigers over Indiana, Alabama, and Memphis.

The 6-9, 227-pound prospect from Birmingham, Alabama is rated the No. 5 power forward for 2019 and the No. 27 overall player in the country, according to the 247 Sports Composite rankings.
