Murray State assistant coach Tim Kane is reportedly joining Matt McMahon's staff at LSU, making him the second former Racer assistant to follow McMahon to Baton Rouge.

Kaine has been coaching College Basketball since 2002 with stops at Murray State, Georgia Southern, Florida Atlantic, Winthrop, Austin Peay, Newberry College, and Guilford College.

Before he got into coaching he played basketball at Winthrop and UT Martin.

According to his Twitter bio, Kane will be LSU's Chief of Staff:

Kane will join former Murray State assistant Casey Long and former Memphis assistant coach Cody Toppert on McMahon's coaching staff.

Man, this Murray St stuff has got to stop. LSU cannot just take all of Murray States players and coaches and be a top team in the country
