COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Tigers fell Thursday night to South Carolina, 13-5, at Founders Park.

LSU will face off against South Carolina at Founders Park for games two and three of the series in a doubleheader on Friday, April 7. The first game of the day will begin at 11:00 a.m. CT with the second game beginning one hour after the conclusion of the first. The games will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and its affiliates, and available to watch on SECN+.

Because we planned to play 18 innings of baseball today. Given that our starters most likely won’t make it past 5 innings, most likely will need him and the better bullpen arms in those games for extended relief. Also considering that last night could’ve resulted in multiple delays, might as well hold off and not burn a bigger arm until today IF weather permits.
